An Apollo alternative for teams that do not want a plan
Apollo is a full sales platform: a contact database with emails and phone numbers, plus tools for sequencing and tracking outreach. getLeads is much smaller. It starts from your domain, suggests the companies that fit, and charges per lead from prepaid credit, so you pay only when you unlock something.
Where getLeads is different
- No subscription. You add credit once and spend it on leads one at a time; it lasts 12 months from each top-up.
- The price of a lead follows the country it is in, so prospecting in Kenya or Nigeria costs less than prospecting in the United States.
- It starts from your own website. The scan proposes industries and buyer roles with a reason for each, before you pick a market.
- You read the fit reason for every match before paying, with the company name masked until you unlock it.
Where Apollo is the better choice
- Contact data: Apollo provides emails and phone numbers. getLeads does not, and an unlocked lead is a company, a suggested role and an opening line.
- Outreach tooling: if you want sequences, a built-in inbox and reporting in one product, Apollo is built for that and getLeads is not.
- Scale: if you prospect every day in large volumes, a plan can cost less per contact than paying per lead.
What Apollo says about its plans
Read from Apollo's own pricing page on 29 October 2026. Vendors change plans without notice, so check the current page before you decide.
- Apollo lists four plans: Free, Basic, Professional and Custom.
- Apollo says its credits are granted at the start of each billing cycle, and that unused credits expire at the end of it, including credits bought as an add-on.
- Apollo says add-on credits renew automatically each billing cycle until you remove them.
- Apollo says its free plan has no time limit, and that every seat on an account is on the same plan.
We do not quote Apollo’s prices: the page does not state them in a form we could read and confirm, and they depend on the plan, seats and billing period. An Apollo plan includes contact data and outreach tools that getLeads does not have, so a monthly price and a per-lead price are not the same thing to compare.
What a getLeads lead costs
The price follows the country of the lead, from $0.43 to $0.85 per lead. You pay only for the leads you unlock, out of credit that lasts 12 months.
- Uganda, Ethiopia$0.43
- Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana$0.51
- Philippines, South Africa, Brazil$0.64
- United States, United Kingdom, Germany$0.85

Questions
Does getLeads replace Apollo?
Only for a narrow job: finding which companies to approach, without a subscription. It does not give you emails or phone numbers or send outreach, so many teams would use it next to a contact tool, not instead of one.
When is a subscription the better choice?
When you prospect in volume every week and need verified contact details and sequencing. Paying per lead suits occasional or exploratory prospecting, especially outside high-income markets.
